1. Who is responsible

Social Eye is responsible for personal data processed to operate Consulting Pedia. This notice covers visitors, account holders, directory submissions, ownership claims and customers.

2. Information we process

We process account names and email addresses; professional profiles, firm details, photos and logos; contact and membership enquiries; ownership-claim evidence; submitted news, jobs and events; and technical information such as IP address, browser details and usage events. Public professional information may also be sourced from public sources for directory listings. Contact us to request corrections or removal.

Order references, selected plans and billing correspondence may be processed when you purchase. A payment provider may collect payment details directly under its own privacy notice. Do not send full card details through our contact forms or email.

3. Purposes and legal grounds

We use information to create and secure accounts, manage listings and ownership claims, provide purchased access, moderate content, respond to enquiries, maintain records and comply with legal obligations. Where applicable, processing is based on performing a contract, legal obligations, legitimate interests in operating a secure professional directory, or consent for activities requiring it.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand website usage. Analytics can include device, browser, approximate location and page-interaction information. Newsletter or promotional communication, if offered, is subject to applicable consent requirements and an unsubscribe method.

4. Public information and recipients

Information published in a public profile, article, job or event can be viewed by other visitors and indexed by search engines. Publish only information you have authority to share, and use available contact-visibility settings. Public availability does not authorize unlawful reuse.

Service providers supporting hosting, Lovable Cloud account services and storage, email delivery and analytics may process information needed for their functions. We may disclose data where required by law or necessary to protect rights and security. We do not sell personal data.

If a purchase is actually processed through Paddle, Paddle processes checkout and transaction information as merchant of record under its own privacy notice at https://www.paddle.com/legal/privacy. We receive the order information needed to provide access and support. This applies only when Paddle is used; it does not imply an active integration.

5. International processing and retention

We operate in Pakistan and our service providers may process data in other countries. Where applicable, we use legally required safeguards for international transfers. Privacy protections can differ between countries.

We retain data for as long as needed to operate your account, fulfil the purposes described, resolve disputes and meet legal or accounting obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it where feasible. Retention may differ for public editorial records, backups and legally required billing records.
